AMJHERA Village is located in the Dhar District of the Indian Central State of Madhya Pradesh. The area has a rich history.  Agriculture is the main profession of this village and area

The Ghee Brand of the farm is Banshi Organic

Apart from Ghee, the farm produces cold-pressed oils - groundnut, sunflower, sesame and mustard oil which are sold on its website. Other produce includes milk, cottage cheese (paneer), organic vegetables, pulses and grains

Banshi Organic Fram has a large number of Gir Cows.  The farm is set over 60 acres of area and is certified organic. Agricultural activities are conducted in a traditional way. The farm relies on unconventional processes and is not dependent on the use of pesticides and fertilizers.

 

The dairy farm is also certified for organic production. Making it one of the rarest certified organic desi cow dairy farms. Banshi Organic Farm has pure-breed Gir cows who live in a stress-free atmosphere and are allowed to graze freely

About the founders: Ambikesh Khandelwal is the co-founder of the company Banshi Organic. He was earlier working with  Sterlite Technologies and Information technology firm based in the business city of Mumbai, India.

 

In 2017, Ambikesh decided to follow his passion and decided to return to his family farm in his hometown. In Ambikeshs;' words, he finds the work to be satisfying his soul. And believes that being in nature and doing something for and with nature is fulfilling. He started with the small goshala (cow shed) at his farm and slowly and steadily he made his entire farming based on cow dung and urine.

 

The milk of Goshala is used to make Ghee with the traditional method of hand curd churning.
